Hello! My name is Maria Isabel Silva (MIS). After years pursuing academic and professional achievements as a scientist, I began searching for a more meaningful, creative, and conscious way of living. That journey led me back to creativity and to becoming the artist I am today.

I enjoy working across many forms of art, and Studio Mista is a space where my different interests, artistic practices, and life experiences come together to shape who I am becoming as both a person and an artist.

My art is inspired by synchronicities and my subconscious. My creations are mirrors for self-reflection and guides for self-creation as I navigate my human experience.
